A user is anyone who logs into UpFix. We have four roles: Requester (submits work requests — free, not billed), Regular (manages and participates in work), Technician (completes work order), and Admin (manages settings). Only Regular, Technician, and Admin users count toward your billed seats. Requesters can submit unlimited work requests at no cost. All user permissions can be customized.
Billing is per user per month. You're charged only for Regular, Technician, and Admin users. Requesters are free. You can add or remove users anytime, and your bill adjusts accordingly. We currently offer monthly billing. We may offer annual billing in the future.
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. When you upgrade, you get immediate access to the new features. When you downgrade, the change takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
The free plan includes unlimited multi-asset work orders, unlimited attachments, time tracking, and up to 5 users, 10 assets, 1 site, and 2 GB storage. It's ideal for small teams getting started or evaluating UpFix before scaling.
Currently we do not offer an annual plan but might do in the future.
